This small yet powerful rechargeable mini lamp fits in just about any spot, great for restaurant dining tables, even while dining al fresco. Yes that's right they are outdoor tested to withstand the weather. The powder coated matte black all metal mini lamp is topped off with a metal lamp shade with an integrated touch sensitive dimmer switch for high, medium or low 3 way output. This adjustable light means it can distribute just the right amount of warm glow to enhance that ambience anywhere. This modern little rechargeable marvel now makes a dramatic statement piece to any environment with total disregard to plugs and outlets. This small lamp is solely powered by a rechargeable, high performance Li-Ion 12V battery hidden in the base (includes 2 packs) and is super easy to access and change out. This eco-friendly mini lamp also includes a 3 Way integrated LED 12V bulb with a warm color output, great for dining experiences. Charge up the battery, and light up your dining space virtually anywhere you want!

Sophisticated light in the garden

The new Modern Lantern outdoor lights are providing much needed light in the two patio areas in my garden. I hadn’t known how much I needed them until they were here. I could always read outside with my lighted eReader or iPad but had to go inside if I was reading a book. I either had to eat in the dark in spring or fall or hope the wind didn’t blow out my hurricane candle - or the glass shade wouldn’t break if the wind was too strong. Now I have beautiful DIMMABLE light whenever I need it and the lamps themselves are sleek and sophisticated. The first battery is still going strong after 6 evenings but the next set is ready and installation is a breeze. Thanks to Modern Lantern for making this part of my life easier and better.

Very nice - good quality

We bought the black indoor/outdoor cordless lamps for a party. They are very nice and exceptional quality.. The only callout just to make other potential buyers aware- the top of the lamp shade is black metal just like the surround. Therefore light only comes from the bottom. It isn't obvious from the pictures of the lamp on the website. We still very much enjoy the cordless lamps but that was a surprise when we unwrapped them.

Thank you Joy, we need to point that out a bit better, I agree. The reason the shade is fully enclosed at the top is to get it outdoor wet rated, just FYI. Thank you!

Outdoor Class

We have outdoor lanterns on our back porch and the back deck where we gather when the weather is nice. SO elegant. We’ve gotten lots of compliments on the ambience they add to our outdoor space. LOVE that you can just tap to turn them in and off.
