Refund policy

Returns
Contact us first please at info@modernlantern.com. Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase delivery, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange, however all of our components come with a 1 year warranty guarantee.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. ITEM MUST BE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING.

To complete your return, we require approval and a receipt or proof of purchase (we can typically look this up for you).

Please do not send your purchase back without contacting us first, your return MUST be authorized by Modern Lantern for refunds.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-3 days. We charge a 10% restocking fee for returns, unless there was an issue or error on our part.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace same items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at: info@modernlantern.com.

Shipping Return Fee
To return your product, FIRST contact us at info@modernlantern.com and we can provide you with instructions and shipping label for FedEx.

We will send you a pre-paid return label but YOU will be responsible for our 10% restocking fee. UNLESS there is an issue with the item, in which case we will cover all costs.
