We LOVE the new Sherwin Williams color of the month, Urbane Bronze (SW-7048) and it just so happens to work perfectly with metallics in your home. You can use it as an accent wall or for a lighter room, you can use this color on a larger piece of furniture like in this image above we found on Pop Sugar's blog. Here the color anchors the room allowing you to add in some metallic accessories in your decor.
Really impressed with Restoration Hardware's new intro of RH Modern. Loving this free-form organic object. What a simple method to add some pop to your living room.
Want to add just one bold statement piece with tones of this trend? How about the Agate End Table from Anthropologie?
Lucky for us, there are some great examples of metallic and pattern combinations from well known modern designers. Jonathan Adler has no shortage of designs featuring the popping metallic look. It’s this whimsical type of element that has almost become the entity of the brand’s distinct and signature style.

Finally when it comes to setting your room that has lighting dilemmas with no outlet close by, who can resist our Bartlett Ivory on antique brass? We think it would look great with this color! and frankly the last thing you want to deal with when decorating your awesome new living room is how to add a lamp with no floor outlets close by. So... Modern Lantern has got you covered;)

HI Julie, thanks for asking and I think for a more traditional look the Baluster cordless lamp would look great (has copper highlights over the black finish) OR for more modern twist the Bartlett bronze metallic would look stunning too;)

Thanks! Carrie
I need a cordless table lamp to sit atop an antique hammered copper top. Any idea?
