This small in stature, tall on performance cordless lamp is of artisan made stoneware design, done in an off-white/ivory glaze and topped off with a tapered off-white linen shade or a woven rattan option. Every piece in this hand made, limited run, is made here in the USA and assembled in our own shop. This cordless lamp solves those hard to light spots anywhere in your home (or place of business) regardless of outlets. This Modern Lantern exclusive design is powered by our mini rechargeable, high performance Li-Ion 12V battery packs (two are included with purchase for zero downtime). The battery packs easily pop out from under the lamp in seconds, ready for recharging. This eco-friendly lamp includes a long lasting 7W 12V LED bulb. Outstanding Customer Service

I have made 3 purchases from Modern Lantern, and I love all of their products. I did have a tiny issue with the 3rd purchase; however, with their outstanding customer service, this tiny issue was promptly resolved. I love the look of the lamps I ordered, and I love not having any cords!! Yes, you do have to recharge the batteries, but this is minor to get the look I wanted in my living room, and the lamps work very well.

Nice Lamp

The lamp is beautiful and fits perfectly in the space. My only negative is the battery has to be charged every night If you keep the lamp on 6 to 7 hours a day.

Hi Kathy, sorry you are 100% overjoyed, that is what we strive for. The performance should be 8 hours on a full charge with this MINI battery platform, as stated in the listing. The mini battery by price and design is less expensive but less performance. You can always purchase an extra battery for no downtime. Most customers that want maximum performance will choose our full size battery pack system, click in type 7000 mAh which will net you close to 32 hours of ON time, much more powerful, but of course that costs a bit more. We just try our best to provide our customers with options, accurate descriptions so that they can choose what best suites their needs. Thank you for the feedback.

I ordered this cordless lamp to place on a grand piano. The lamp is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. When fully charged, the amount of light provided by the lamp is more than sufficient. I can see how it would be helpful to have a spare battery and I will probably order one.
