Designer Lamps Made Cordless that Look Great and Perform Great Too

Design comes first for us at Modern Lantern but never at a sacrifice of performance. When we started the company, our goal was the create a "real" lamp that you could place anywhere around the home, and 15 years later our focus is still the same. Modern Lantern was the first company to bring cordless, rechargeable light, in the form of a full sized lamp you would proudly display in your home. We actually have a patent around this product design system. In the last several years our technology has improved now allowing warm light output that can illuminate an entire living room for up to 24+ hours on a single charge. That is useable light from dusk into the evening for up to a week (depending on its use) without ever having to remove and recharge the high performance lithium ion battery pack. That's "real" performance wrapped in a gorgeous package.

As the lead designer on our lamps, I carefully considered how the user would interact with our product. Our residential line of lamps all come with an easily removable, 7000 mAh battery pack that simply un-clicks from under the lamp, hidden from view, gets placed on the 12 volt wall charger for about 4 hours and then the fully charged battery pack is ready to be used again. For some customers that use the lamp daily, they can purchase an extra pack and the lamp can constantly be used without any downtime. No other cordless lamp on the market can do this.

From a design standpoint the lamps are all individually beautiful pieces. We stay away from overly simple, harsh looks, and stay far away from novelty. We offer a wide variety of lamps from a ceramic line that is manufactured in America, to ones with high end metal finishes, all the way to a fleet of mini lamps perfect for those tight spaces as well as fine dining establishments. Our founders are a husband and wife team, one being an interior designer and the other a product designer. We personally talk and listen to our customers on a daily basis. We take pride in taking care of our customers as well as offering replacement parts for all our lamps so they can work for you and your home for years and years to come. At Modern Lantern the owners/founders started everything with YOU in mind. Some come pay us a visit, only at ModernLantern.com
