Modern Lantern has a Variety of Design Choices when it comes to Rechargeable Mini Lamps...
So how do you know which cordless mini lamp for restaurant is the best for your next design project?
Not only is the small lamp the jewelry on the guest's table, it also can be convenient for them, as well as the staff when using. But with so many styles (and models now days) how do you chose one?
The first thing you might think about is the overall "vibe" of the destination. Is it a low lit steak house or is it a social destination where the trend is fresh and the mood is much more lively? Besides considering the obvious style, size, finish, and design that meets the look and feel, you also have to consider the weight, the ease of use, the durability, how much space recharging occupies in a relatively cramped back of the house, so many factors can go in to this decision. Let's break this down into a handful of topics.
1. Aesthetic Harmony: Material & Form
You know the look you are after when you see it, but you still can have lots of choices. How does the scale of the lamp suite the table? For luxury dining destinations the lamp should feel heavy and be the centerpiece but not get in the sightline of its guests. It should coordinate with the finishes in the restaurant and can either fade into the mood or stand out as a statement on the table depending on the vibe you are after.
2. Light Output Excellence: Warm, Inviting, and Adjustable
Considering the guests needs is important. Some will never touch the lamp in the center of the table, but most will actually pick it up and use it. So the lamp should "feel" heavy and be of high quality with durability in mind. The output should be adjustable for the guest. Does it dim or have a low, medium or high to be able to read the menu without annoying others? We have considered all of those factors. Also the light temperature is very important. The last thing anyone wants is a blue or green output, our newer mini lamp model adjust also in the kelvin temperatures from a super warm 2100K, to a warm 2400K, finally to a warm yellow 2700K. We only have warm inviting output on all our mini lamp models. You also need to consider the directional output of the lamp's design. Some provide more ambient or broad output and others with a metal closed top shade only direct the light downward, for a lower lit moody atmosphere.

3. Operating Ease: Technical Aspects of How to Use and Recharge
A luxury project fails if the servers are struggling with dead batteries mid-service. Our mini lamp models have our patented swappable battery so the lamp can always stay on the table (where it should) and the staff never has any downtime when setting up the lamps on tables. Modern Lantern includes two high performance battery packs with every hospitality purchase and the performance times are unmatched in the industry. They boost times from 18 hours on high all the way to over 150 hours when set on the lowest output setting. The lamp will NEVER not be ready. When it is time to recharge, we don't sell you expensive charging carts that take of tons of critical space, the battery pack easily pops out from under the base and the battery can be swapped for a freshly charged one. The other can go to the back of the house and get recharged in around 2 hours with a simple (included) wall charger. Have LOTS of them for this project? No problem Modern Lantern also offers a separate 4 way wall charger that will charger 4 of our mini battery packs with only using one outlet. Use a surge strip and you can do up to 20 battery packs overnight using just one outlet, and it takes up very little space.
4. The Magic: Experience Flexibility and Ease of Use
No more 'dead' or dark zones, even the lowly lit bar-top can come to life with a handful of cordless lamps. Maybe those can coordinate in style and finish with the table top models but stand for some height. This can also be useful in the server's booth when guests arrive or the waiting areas to set the mood of the restaurant immediately upon entering. Modern Lantern has very large lamps that can suite those needs but that coordinate great with the mini lamp models for every table. With the ability to put them anywhere, regardless of plugs, can make a restaurant or bar really stand out.
